Book a call
Thirty minutes. No deck, no pitch. You tell me what isn't working and I'll tell you whether I can help.
Pick a time that suits. The invite and video link land in your inbox straight away. If it's obvious I'm not the right person, I'll tell you that too - and usually point you at who is.
Your details go into my CRM so I can prepare for the call, and nowhere else. I don't sell data or add people to lists they didn't ask for. The privacy policy has the detail.
What happens on the call
You talk. I listen.
Most of the half hour is you describing the situation — what you've tried, what's stalled, who's frustrated. I'll ask questions, but I'm not running a discovery script to qualify you into a pipeline.
I tell you what I think.
On the call, not in a follow-up document. Usually that includes the bit you didn't want to hear — that the problem isn't where you think it is, or that it isn't a marketing problem at all.
We work out whether there's a piece of work.
If there is, I'll scope it and give you a straight number. If there isn't, I'll say so and point you at who can help. Either way you leave the call with something useful.
What to have ready
None of this is mandatory. It just means we spend the half hour on the problem instead of on background.
Your current numbers
Revenue, pipeline, conversion — whatever you actually track. Rough is fine.
What you've already tried
Including what didn't work. That's usually more useful than what did.
Who's in marketing today
Headcount, agencies, freelancers — and who makes the final call.
The decision you're stuck on
If there's one thing you'd want an answer to by Friday, bring that.
Engage Summatt. Get Stu.

Twenty years in senior marketing roles, most of it in-house rather than in an agency — which means I've had to live with my own recommendations, not just hand them over and move on.
I'm direct, I show the working, and I'll tell you when something's rubbish. Nicely.
Former CMO of an ASX-listed technology company. Currently head of marketing, on contract, for an ASX-listed healthcare group. Sales has reported to me in both.
